YES, WE KEEP MOVING UPWARD !!!

Gary & Norm we may need you before we blow up the place!!!!
Bonjou!  Enjoyed a afternoon off on Sat., took most of the team to the beach.  They enjoyed that very much and thought it was beautiful. The beach had so many jelly fish in the water and out, amazing and no one got stung. Sunday took us to Bric to church and enjoyed a fellowship meal with the mission. Sunday afternoon took us to our creole teacher's house to share a cake, watermelon and singing for Stanley's  Birthday (which was Sat.) and  to see how Juilene was with her cancer. She was glad we came, she laid in a lounge chair. She gave us some encouraging words.  Philip could tell she was experiencing some pain. Keep her in your prayers, Stanley thinks she'll get better. We know God can but my Faith is lacking a little at this point. The work  is continuing but a little slower with running electric and plumbing. talking about a Tropical Storm coming in on Thursday. Was hoping to get the roof poured with the team here, so we'll see.
The girls enjoyed some fabric shopping at market on Monday, Wiztgard took them in.
the pump is keeping very busy too!
On Wednesday  they went with some of the Bric ladies to the bowl factory. The owner, told Melanie they sell to the states, Macy's , a big fair in San Fran, and Martha Stewart ??  The price goes way up in the states.  Hope to take them to the tin market. Here's some pixs .

The Tropical storm Chantal isn't as bad yet as we thought, did have some rain pouring down the walls last night. Philip had to go chip out some holes in new cement as the water had no place to go upstairs and we didn't want to flood out down  below. Was hoping to pour the roof on top today but want to see how the weather is for tomorrow.  Better get busy with some more laundry, and etc. Love & Blessings to all, until then-Bethany

We've Moved...

We've moved -----  and running like crazy with a young team with lots of energy-- in fact a Henry  just came through ( a.... Bethany we'll soon be done with walls what we going to do next ?? Philip is trying to catch his breathe - ( Philip what about this -- what about that -- we need this -- we need that)) pant - pant- pant -
Wiztgard's special meal with pig ears

Generator in depot and purring away
I had a good trip to the states and enjoyed seeing everyone but it went fast. When Philip picked me up from the airport had been traveling for a day and a half with little sleep-- got a grilled fish lunch then came to our land.. Everything was back fixed like when I left - looked good- Wiztgard fixed us lunch -- SMILE-- special-- pig ears fried-- plantian -- and sauce -- Whew!! --- Left to go to our house at Gantheir and I kept falling asleep -- sleep all night and next morning.  At 10: 00 a.m. I found Philip had locked me in the back -accidentally. My phone had no gourdes or time - but Cheryl had called and she called Philip - who called Pastor Enel - who called his wife and she let me out . I was O.K.  but getting thirsty.. :)  Last Tuesday we moved some things. We stayed at Simeon & Melanie's  Wed. night to help keep boys while they were on an Anniversary trip. Thursday night late we went  to Fond Parsian  to pick up Pat's. We all stayed at Pastor Enel's that night and the rain had cooled the temp. so we had a good night of rest- it had be terrible hot.. Loaded up the truck and we came and unloaded at our new home-- yeah-- Pat started doing some temporary electric to run fans and lights for the team. Cheryl and I cleaned some. Then we drove back to Pastor Enel's for some more American stuff- Madam Ollie thought we had lots of things- we aren't done either -- so far -- no furniture much yet even-- We're so blessed people and we don't even know it most of time -- we need this and we need that.. Philip & Pat went Sat. morning and brought the generator out from CAM --  Cheryl and I was at market so we missed the unloading .. so no pictures. Fans in the bedroom keeping the air moving -- wonderful - bathroom sink in- washer in place - not quite set water to slow so I add like a wringer washer but can wash.  Took Pat's home Sunday morning got a few more things at Gantheir and came back - quick nap and straighten up a bit. Went to Bric for church in evening then to Simeon's to Celebrate Solomon's birthday on the 29th and we celebrated Philip's too. had a good Mocha homemade ice cream...
Picked up the team at 9:45 A.m. , I had been at market with Wiztgard to get things so they could fix us lunch - running late -- got to main road and there was Philip leaving for airport so I left
Wiztgard with the big load.. jumped in the truck to go with Philip to  airport. arrived in parking lot just as the team was coming out. They had drove from Tenn. to  tp Florida. then got on the plane, so we just came to house gave a few instructions and they rested. Now Philip & I are still trying to catch our breathe- the  energy of the youth. Tuesday they set some walls, with high winds and several went with Philip to CAM to pick up the rest of the walls. Boys dug a trench from generator depot to shipping container to run an electrical wire for a security light.    Wednesday  busy setting more walls,  and eating lots. :)
sending up the walls

Young Henry drilling holes for the rebar -hope he don't connect with his feet

One and half walls up on Tuesday
Even the girls are helping great, cooking , cleaning, gardening etc. Henry wondered again what we would do they about have the walls up :) :) There's still quite a bit to do.

Us girls will have to start painting and just paint over the temporary wiring I guess. They want to keep busy , Philip and  I may have to hold some meetings and get some more ideas ;) for jobs. Such a blessing just wanting to come and help us for our own project.  Madam Ollie is cooking about 3 times a week for us. The team wanted lots of Haitian cooking. I went early this morning with Wiztgard to buy supplies.  Boss mark arrived at lunch to look at the walls to start stucco work . Clint Bower & his Haitian friend Edner came along too. Enjoyed a lunch of rice, bean sauce, tomato sauce and goat, with all. Tomorrow morning Judith, who is married to the Team Leader, Mahlon is going to fix us a Bolivia breakfast. she was raised by missionary parents there.  It will be rice , and I'll find the rest out tomorrow. I think she could teach me lots of fun things to make. It is always fun to have different ones come along with new food ideas. Blessings to all , thank you for your prayers and support in many ways - Philip  and I will  soon rest and try to catch our breathe tonight . Maybe we will dream dreams of more jobs- :) - until next time - Love, Bethany
